I really wish I could be there. I HAVE to lock down plans for the spring gather. At least this year I wont have Just taken a Disney trip, and be going to Blade, so the Gather should finally happen again.
Also let me know about that thing we were talking about ...lol you know.. the thing.
 
Just got a call from Kyle/AIG... seems he's held up in Chicago at the moment. He had a much better attitude about it than I would've.
 
It's getting closer and looks like my work load won't let me up til late friday, really not up for a 12hr drive if I can't leave sooner....

tomorrow will tell...

worked a late day in hopes of being able to leave tomorrow morning, doesn't look like that's going to happen and I can't see myself driving 11hrs after work tomorrow to get there... really bummed as this has been the only fall gathering that didn't fall on my son's bday...... I had nothing planned.......................

BCK, looks like in the near future (read a month/6 weeks or so) we should have some folks meet up down in the ozarks to camp... I'm itching to get out of civilization myself right now!
 
that would be sweet..... course I may be recovering from knee surgery then, meeting with the doc monday to see whats up...

been a long time since the accident but this is something I just need to get done, my theory is it can't be more painful then what I've been dealing with for almost a year... They say six week recovery but if I can drive I'm there... :) there has to be a handful of use around the area, 1066 being one of them
 
Sure hate that our "get togethers" overlapped and I know you guys are having a great time. Don't feel bad for me though, I kicked some ass at the spud gun skeet shoot today. :D

Made a day trip and saw a few of the Beckerheads shortly after they became mobile Friday morning. First 'head I saw was Murph . . . on his way to the cooler. This was before 10 am. Then he left and I later heard he & Derek went to SMKW on a prospecting trip. So, I missed Derek, doggonit. :grumpy:

I had to leave shortly after 1 pm and didn't get many pix . . . this is the only one worth showing. You get the general idea of the layout and some of the 'heads in attendance.

Just met these guys today and I'm really not good with names but some of the guys in this photo are SaturatedShadow, Kyle (Average Iowa Guy), Rolled edge, Ethan Becker, Pointy and Gutsy . . . ?

Would appreciate any additions and/or corrections . . . :)

Well, shucks . . . I just thought I missed Derek. What I did miss was getting his name correct. Maybe I can do better next time.

Still private, trade.
I just owned my Saturday menu. Double the calories I had allotted for the day, but I sure as heck enjoyed that second bowl of chili. :thumbup:
