Becker Fall Gathering Sign-Up -- September 26-28

damn...toenail painting/jimping seminars...punji stake traps...wilp plum confections... I might have to check if I can sneak out! I also scored a big bottle of tamarind puertorrican moonshine this last trip home, and has been sitting in the fridge for over a month...I need to get it out of there and share. No driving for me if I do this, so I will be looking out for the campfire at the airport's lobby, and I might swing if I can find a good hammock, never done it before.

Don't know if you have an REI in your area, but their Labor Day Sale is on, and the Eno hammocks (including the new Junglenest with built-in bug netting) are currently discounted.

Sadly, I'm going to be headed back to the desert southwest on the Texas/NM border for 8 weeks starting next week.

I didn't know there was going to be a Becker Texas Gathering, but I'm in if work allows.

And I'd like to get a rough headcount from Guyon or somebody when the numbers come in for this Gathering. I want to send a little care package from Texas since I can't make it.

This site keeps costing me more and more money. I may have to get a shed.

I don't know that there is going to be one, but I thought I'd throw it out there and see if someone bit...and maybe make it happen.

Going to try and make it. Probably on the motorcycle unless anyone wants to carpool.
 
If all goes according to plan this weekend, there may be a fresh batch of some world-famous and highly-sought-after JT's HomeGrown Hot Pepper Relish to share at the Gathering.

Hey, I'm in for this, I've painted my wife's toenails a time or two, I'm not ashamed to admit it. :-) actually, I've been a little quiet on this thread cause I wasn't sure if I could attend. I have a scheduling conflict that week but fortunately it just got solved, I will be there, and will be bringing my lovely wife Gina this time. Be tenting.

I'm new here. Is this open to anyone or do you have to be a beckerhead. I live in Polk Co, TN and sounds like you all a close to my neck of the woods. I would love to attend if that is possible.
 
I demand tribute. Then, if I am satisfied with the offerings, I shall give freely of my advice. But only if the tribute is found to be worthy.
