My ever-loving little brother in law has it in his head to apply for cable permits on half-dome. He already approached me with the idea. I told him I had serious reservations, which I do. I also told him later that I would be open to the idea. Though, I am not getting any younger, or fitter. Half dome is a serious hike, probably best spread out over 2 days for someone like me. We shall see.
 
One is nice, two is betterer, three is not a crowd and four... four is to be considered. o_O

You can do this tangle. We have what my Infantry son refers to as Old Man muscle. It’s layers built up from years of physical labor that can’t be built in a gym

I can relate to this. I recently found my BK4 that I thought I had misplaced when I helped clean up my grandmother's property before it sold. Naturally I had to share my good news with a friend and Becker convert. The conversation went something like:

Me: I found my 4! It had just shifted to the bottom of my other beckers.
Him: Shifted to the bottom?
Me: Yea. I was worried that I was going to have to pull out one of my backup 4s.
Him: You have more than one backup?
Me: My level of BK4 is currently at equilibrium.

I thought we were back into drought mode. There is hardly a cloud in the sky. But, they say 50% chance of rain tonight and tomorrow. About the same is forecast for the following weekend and into that week.

Hi Beckerheads, I’m hoping one of you can help me. My suburban environment isn’t very conducive to helping me find what I am looking for and this may be easy for one of you.

I’m looking to get a slice of a soft/medium wood log that would be approximately 10 inches in diameter and 4 inches thick.

I’m looking for something that I could stab my knives (like the BK62) into next to my cutting board. :D
