I'm headed up for a mountain climb in 2 weeks. Panther Mountain to be exact. I'll have my nephew cut you a slab. White Oak, Red Oak, Black Walnut. Pick your poison Brotha. I'll let ya know.Hi Beckerheads, I’m hoping one of you can help me. My suburban environment isn’t very conducive to helping me find what I am looking for and this may be easy for one of you.
I’m looking to get a slice of a soft/medium wood log that would be approximately 10 inches in diameter and 4 inches thick.
I’m looking for something that I could stab my knives (like the BK62) into next to my cutting board.
I’d gladly compensate via PayPal for this and the shipping.
Thanks for your consideration.![]()
That’s serious lumber!
Just saw this, brother Tanker. Thanks for the generosity, but, I took care of it. Much appreciated though.I'm headed up for a mountain climb in 2 weeks. Panther Mountain to be exact. I'll have my nephew cut you a slab. White Oak, Red Oak, Black Walnut. Pick your poison Brotha. I'll let ya know.

That’s cool but can it save you money on your car insurance?"That's not a knoife..."
THIS is a "knife" that cuts ~70nm (yes, NANOmeter) samples with glass blades. The samples float off onto the surface tension of water held by the little black triangular cradle wax-bonded to the blade-edge.
Yeah, Bladite, I just stepped cutting tech up a notch from your post.
