Becker Knife Ideas

not a knife idea but a handle idea to mod a bk2 into a spear/hatchet , i put a big bolt through the lanyard hole to make sure it would be rock solid

sweet :>

straight out spear/hatchet "spatchet" the back edge is for chopping so you can keep a razor edge on the spear

i call it the ugly stick and it wants to kill some unsuspecting boar

its stupid but this is my tacticool stuff, not even calling this a becker

here you go mgregg85 i really wanted to try at that design when i saw your pic, i call it the bk-OGRE

but its not done i really want input on this one

the sheath would basically look like the knife with one strap over the curved area i will make a pic soon

I LIKE THAT !!! I have the Marble's shown. The blade is too thin for sure. I would definately buy one of those 1/4" thick versions. Awesome. :D

I would also like to see a BK&T Kukri that has dimensions like the real deal HI. 1/2" thick spine & about a 15" blade, made in America, like all the other awesome BK&T offerings.

Sorry it's been a while but I have been busy

Also been waiting for some input from you guys, I thought you would enjoy the MAGNUM magnum

Here is an idea that is SURE to please many.

Make the BK-10 Crewman Utility again, only in 1/4" thick version, as well as the 3/16" version. I would buy one of each. It is my favorite.

That & put some good knurling on the top half of the BK_2, or a ramp with some good knurling.

I am just gonna throw this out there. KaBar & BK&T are in business to make money & bring a quality, made in America product to market, at a fair price point, this is a fact. It is also a fact that there has recently been a HUGE upsurge & intrest with people new to the Becker scene. Yes, we are johnny come lately. But i think there is a HUGE potential to make some $$$$$$ by bringing back the entire line of stuff that is no longer in production. People i work with have realized my love of quality HD knives. I am constantly telling them about Becker knives. I really believe this has some potential. Maybe not massive numbers, but a couple hundred of each would probably sell quickly. IDK, just throwing it out there.

There are a lot of us that have asked about the possibility of some of the older models coming back. For the BK1 - Brute, that was determined to not be happening again ever. For things like the MachAx though, there have been allusions to it making a comeback at some point soon(ish). Aside from that though, I don't really know. Moose and Bladite know some things that they aren't saying, so we will have to wait and see what is in store for us. However, despite my love of some of the older knives, the impression I get from the old pro's is that the current line up really covers all the bases nicely.

There have also been some statements kicked around about getting a BK10 Crewman for the Beckerheads, but at this point I don't think anyone knows when that might happen.

I like what you did, but what I was referring to was how the handle is angled. If you look the handle angles up from the blade instead of being a straight back in line with the blade.

I think we recently had a thread that discussed the reason for the little notch at the bottom of the blade, or the "really tiny choil" that was there as a means of making sure that bottom portion of the blade was easier to sharpen.

No worries man, here you go.

I took the liberty of putting a notch back in there as well.

I just don't understand why they would not bring back something if people are requesting it ? Even small runs of 100 or so ?
