I just don't understand why they would not bring back something if people are requesting it ? Even small runs of 100 or so ?

Because Ka-bar is there to make money.
You have to remember that this is the first time the Kabar has made the Becker line so they can't "bring back" the knives. They would have to produce them from scratch. It's not like they are already set up to make these older knives and just have to "dust off" the tooling. They would have to buy dies and tooling for the new models, then spend the man hours setting them up and getting everything tuned. Would that really be worth it to a company trying to make a profit for just a couple of "small runs"?

This is a custom bk7 idea. I saw this knife in a dream the other night, i found it sitting in the woods it was a little dirty and had no sheath but i was really happy . i started planning on making a nice brown leather sheath and everything but then i woke up and instantly became depressed realizing it was all a dream

anyway luckily its wasn't too customized that its beyond reason and would be crazy expensive. stripped blade polished blue micarta handles with tread cut into them (sorry of the tread in the pic looks like crap it was nicer in the dream) but man i was excited and then the crushing reality set in and i was without a 7 . . . . . . . F'n A!

i think i might try and make this soon
