Becker "Move Your Butt" Challenge - August 2014

and again: 11.77+3.87 = 15.64 TTD.

30 seconds faster this time.

First ever official Crossfit workout. I claim 25BP and a bottle of Advil.
Let you know tomorrow if I survived.

Trying to remember... it's a blur:

warm-up: x3
5 or 10 medicine-ball burpees
10 ball push-ups
10 ball slams

then: x3
30 double-unders (jumprope) or 90 single-unders (I did 30,90,90 all singles 'cause I'm a n00b)
300m row

the workout: as many rounds as possible in 15 min (did 10)
2 dead-lifts
15 kettle bell swings
1 power clean

I went easy on the weight 'cause those motions are all new to me and don't play to my strengths.

then for kicks after did a set of pull-ups and 20/10/10 full hanging dips

be lucky to be able to operate the mouse tomorrow.

This morning did 7.3 miles on the bike and 1 mile on treadmill.. 2.8 + 40.7 = 43.5 ttd

4.1 miles on bike and 1.6 walking - 2.6 + 38.1 = 40.7 ttd

8 mile run tonight
18+8=26 BP for August

7+ mile run today. It was a hot and sunny day. The second half of my run included a few walk breaks because it was so hot. I'm ready for winter.

Here's a photo from a seawall I ran on. This is Otawa Bay. I live on the other side of the bay and ran around it and back home. Mt. Fuji is hidded behind some of the clouds on the left side of the photo.

26+7=33BP for August
