Just use your heads, be smart, and if anything happens, don't stir up any trouble.

Sage advise, good sir!

Sorry about only semi-quoting your post. Just thought that last statement drove the whole point home!

Special things?! I hope they were sharp and pointy. Oh do tell.

I can't, or at least not yet. Yes they were pointy, and PERFECT. Absolutely PERFECT, in every way.

As far as the ESEE guys leaving, it ain't a big deal. Their gonna be fine. Go become a member of that site. I think it might even be better in the long haul cause they have creative control over what goes on. Doesn't seem like a big deal is all.

Oh man the anticipation. Are you going to do a review or presentation like you did for the BK3?

When they come out, you bet your ass I will. Whoops.:foot:

Woohoo! Hooray for inferences! You should make a series of reviews for the Becker products. They don't necessarily need to be a full blown out video like the BK3, but I wouldn't hate it.

yup, from the looks of the sub-forums there i'm thinking it's a good idea actually. esee is all about survival stuff - the knives are just a small part of it. i'm betting that site will take off in a very big way so long as they keep encouraging a lot more actual knife users as opposed to safe queens.

I just finished my setup for a class I'm attending on Saturday.

That's a cool set-up. I like those paddle rigs. I have a few of the Fobus versions, but that leather looks good.

Defensive Handgun? The class I mean.

With double ups on XD mags? That's alot of firepower for a defensive class, I'm betting on something a little more on the other side of the spectrum. My PDC classes were limited to removing the threat. If that's an XD45, that 40rds, XD9, 50rds. Seems like alot of firepower for a Defense Class, but that's my opinion.

I carry a 1911 with 2 spares, giving me a grand total of 25rds at my disposal.

Either way, very badass rig, what dye did you use?

I think one of the reasons a lot of our posts end up staying put is cause most of us really can't seem to manage to take a set of pictures without including at least one Becker knife. I mean heck, that thread I posted of our scoping out the campsite for our spring campout, the only reason it didn't have a pic of a knife was cause that pic came out for crap, which kinda sucked cause it was a nice vanity shot in the woods. Since I didn't have any reasons to use my knife that morning, it was unfortunately very Becker lacking.

I just figured they left us alone cause there's a few mods already here.

I guess there's different levels of defensive handgun classes out there. I remember my first class back in 2000, Glock defensive pistol. I was running my 23 and I think I brought 7 mags with me. It was a two day 1200 rnd class though. Those were clinton 10 rnd mags, then. Ammo was a bit cheaper then too.

Yeah, but a lot of the time, Moose is out shopping for dresses, I'm totally wasted, and Bladite is slipping around in your closet touching your Beckers.

I took an advanced pistol class where we went through about 500-600 rounds. I too carried a full-sized pistol strong side and two double stacks on weak side. 45 rounds at a time.

I've got to get a good holster made for my Glock with the tac-light attached. rlarge (LEO who posts in Horton) put me onto a good kydex source. I just need to place the order.

The holster is mounted to a Fobus paddle. I had a junk holster that I ripped the Roto component off of, modded it, and attached it to the leather.

Its actually more of a Handgun Fundamentals class. The instructor is a good friend of mine, and since this is my first handgun purchase I figured it would be good to get the basics down. Here is the course description-

- Handgun ballistics and design
- Fundamentals of handgun marksmanship
- Loading, unloading, and checking the handgun
- Draw, presentation, and engaging targets
- Post shooting procedures
- Clearing stoppages and malfunctions

I have 2 extra mags, so I made a double mag pouch. I figure less down time on the range anyways. When I carry I will only have 1 extra mag on me. This is an XD40, with 12 rd mags, so I've got 37 rounds.

The dye is a Dark Brown, I used it quite often :D
