Ok, I laffed out loud, scared the cat on that one. We were never in a competition, just having fun, playing with knives. Jeff and Mike are ma frien's, nothing to win, but, if it stays down, everyone loses. One of the best places on the net, that was. Good info, great knives, and who could forget, Death to Whiners.

Jeff and Mike are some of the coolest I have ever met, hope the Esee forum comes back soon.....


I hope the becker forum don't ever go down, I dont know what the hell I would do
 
To sum it up, from what I am reading, Jeff took issue with the fact that threads had been moved from the ESEE forum to other areas, without consultation of the moderators of the ESEE forum. The basic gist I am getting is that it was threads that while considered "off-topic" for ESEE knives were posted there intentionally by members because that is the area of BF they frequent and wanted just the input of the ESEE area.

Apparently there was some disagreement about it, and Jeff asked for the shop to be closed up until an agreement could be reached.

Not posting opinion, or heresay, just what I am reading from Jeff on his website forum.

Now hopefully that will save a few people having to read through a bunch of stuff.

And yes, I think it means we win.

Oh, I know, but something you will find out about Moose's in general, pull their chains, and they pull right back.:D

Whether it's here, or elsewhere, Jeff and Mike are great guys who sell great knives. Tons of good information came out of their forum, and if they start their own, so be it. There will still be plenty of good things to learn here. I for one, will be sad to see them go, but I'm still a Beckerhead at heart...it just so happens that I'm a Rat packin' Beckerhead!

Hey Everybody.....

I for one am really sorry to see the ESSE guys go....I enjoyed the banter and I REALLY like and admire BOTH Jeff and Mike....They design and build great blades and really walk the walk.....I truly feel we are losers here......

I always feel it important to have a competitor to point to that makes similar stuff, that you can unequivocally recommend to someone.....A GOOD competitor helps keep you intellectually honest, challenges you and makes you think.....Mike and Jeff do that for me.....

I consider them very good friends as well........

Too bad, but I see where the ESEE guys are coming from. It'd be good to see this worked out so the forum stays. They bring a lot to the table.
