Prop, thank you for the concern. My mum talks about how lucky I was that I didn't cut my leg off. She still thinks that's possible. Too many movies or something :D

That would take one crazy swing to amputate your own leg. :eek:

But your mom is right, it could have gone VERY wrong. There are alot of important tendons, ligaments and cartilage in the knee. By the way, next time you need to take some pics, and post them as a cautionary tale :D
 
I have one very mean looking pic of the stitching, but I didn't want to upload it because I don't want to break some taboo, I believe Americans are very strict with graphic content and it really looks pretty nasty.

Doctor at the hospital said he'd never seen such a clean cut from an axe. "Looked more like you'd sliced yourself open with a sharp butcher knife" like he said. I polished the grind area on my Fiskars and gave it some sandpaper treatment.

Dude!!! Mine is sucking hard right now. I can't take a quiz that I have to take and it is due in 5 hours.
 
Ive seen better mondays :(...Just got home and its midnight now.Going to hit the rack and wake up at 6 am again.
