I had no idea Academy would price match Buds plus a 5% discount. That is awesome.

Only if you can shoot things other than paper with it. I have the goldenboy in .22WMR as mentioned, and it gets no range time because it's merely more expensive to shoot at paper. I could get a scope for it to shoot at further paper, I suppose.

they say they will price match "anyone" -- but when you read the fine print in their policy, it appears they may not include Bud's.

Do you like the octagonal barrel? I'd be drooling with a normal barrel, but I'm not sure about the octagonal. Seems like it might be unnecessarily heavy.

I haven't noticed being unduly burdened, and have managed the weight so far. I do think it looks marvelous.
 
Heads up guys. Classicfirearms.com has LEO trade-in M&P45's and 40s and Glock 21's for sale right now and refurb G22's. Pretty good deals and I've always had good service from them and they ship quickly. They sell out quick too so jump on it now if you want one.
