Inspired by brother Tanker 1/66 glorious find, my 1904 arrived tonight.

I am amazed by this classic blade.

Some pics for the Beckerheads...

Mine is from 1913, Serial 33845.

I think the scales are walnut (but could be very wrong). I wonder what steel this is made of.

This is what really surprised me...

I believe the sheath says “ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL 1912 H.E.K”

This historical piece is very cool.

For me, yes. The groves are interesting, they drop on the diagonal from the right side to the left. I didn’t expect that.

Both of mine are Springfield Armory 1910s I'll have to look at the serial #. I'm digging that sheath. @Makael do you think that you could copy that?

one of @Ethan Becker favorites. The Case WW2 pilot survival bolo machete. Non folding. I have the folding version. I will dig it out and post some pictures.

GeofS that dangler attachment is pretty dang cool. It’s definitely going to be hard to find that. @Bladite is correct. Finding a sheath is going to be a pricey challenge

I was checking the bay for you last night. Didn’t see any, but I’ll continue to watch. In the meantime an @azwelke dangler sheath that matches the others you have sounds like a solid idea. Nobody does kydex like Al, he’s the best in the game.

Thanks Brotha. It’s in my bay search now. Plenty of repop 1917 Bolo sheaths though.
