It really is.
On a side note, Maker's Mark is me favorite whiskey.
It's definitely the smoothest! We tried some Knob Creek a while back and man, that was some harsh stuff!

Glad I could be there for ya like that. You were right. Great story...I laughed pretty hard!![]()
I went for a solo overnighter there once, and got a bottle of Jack, only because it was $10 cheaper than Maker's Mark. I drank a bit that night, and did okay, but woke up with a headache. The night I drank the Jameson, I felt great, but the neighbors came up, and for whatever reason, I asked the wife to break out the Jack. Like I really needed it.I don't think I've ever had bacon cabbage before. Sounds like that was one rough night at the cabin! Jack Daniels and Jim Beam are ok at best compared to Makers Mark IMO. And I used to be a big Jack Daniels fan! Never tried Jameson though...
those are both Irish Whiskeys - not bourbons.
lighter than bourbon and not quite as sweet -- sort of like a nice Speyside Scotch.

I still like Jameson a lot. Very smooth, with a good, mild taste. Here lately, Ive been getting into drinking Scotch, as that's what my father in law likes to drink. We smoke a gar, and drink Scotch.
thanks for bringing us along MTM!
Happy Birthday Jonny!
Nice looking knife, too.
personally, I prefer Tullamore Dew over Jameson.
Post 'em up, haha.I would say “poor Jonny” for having to take care of me, but he was taking photos in between holding my hair back. Lol!
Just looked up Tullamore. Never heard of it. Looks like they have a few options. Which do you prefer?personally, I prefer Tullamore Dew over Jameson.
