Beckers- the best knives on the planet.

It damn near takes a belt sander to remove the coating on an ESEE.

You guys & yer silly 'coatings'. I strip the coating off most of my users.

Although, my wife does want a pink izula. When I told her I didn't think Beckers came in pink, she said, "maybe you oughta switch to more 'decorative' brand." She didn't like my response to that; that night didn't go well for me. :(

Of course. I'm an ESEE addict, but I can appreciate any good hard use knife. Which is why I'll end up with a BK2 very quickly.

Cause you never know when I might want to slice some paper or open a letter. :D

Of course, why would you want to dirty up your safe queens, when you can have a top notch, inexpensive thorough bred workhorse at your disposal. I agree with you, buy them pretty ESEE's and keep them nice and shiny new. Getcha Becker when you're ready to do some serious work. Letter don't open themselves, and if they did, well, you are holding a knife.

LOL, this is alot of fun, show me anywhere else in the forums where people can do this.:D

The lady has good taste.

but hey, you're one step ahead of me, my wife could care less about any knife, regardless of brand.

Mine just checks my knives out, then she goes and gets hers, an Ontario Pilots Survival Knife I modded for her a while back, she takes it out sharpens it, handles it, then puts it back into her custome purple sheath with butterflies on it. She takes it out everytime we hit the woods.

I told her I would buy her any knife she wanted, she just went over to my knife shelf and picked out that PSK and said here's what I want you to do.

She's a keeper.

I got mine a little pink folder. She put it in her purse and was content with that even though I offered to get her something good.

But she likes guns, so she isn't all bad. :p

My wife packs a Becker BK-7 and a Busse Game Warden. She also accepts my blade insanity. I could not do better.

SilentJohn, you don't have email turned on, so I couldn't shoot you a note. I was sincere about my willingness and ability to answer Busse questions. And about Amy-0's (all the Busse ladies actually) outstanding customer service.

Hey ratpack, if you want to be a beckerhead you need to post your becker pics.
Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Nah I'm good man I already spent my knife budget (at least for a while) on a bhk bushcrafter and I have to say L.T. was a nice guy

Thanks but maybe some day I will buy one

TAGannon, don't feel bad...I'm on the verge of getting one as well. :D

I feel kinda guilty hanging around here. Glad I'm not along. Seems like a nice bunch of folks who really love their knives. I do look forward to receiving the BK2.

Yeah you're right...that was the first day and I've only had it in the woods twice, just wait till it's as old as my RC-3MIL :D
