It has been a week and a half filled with s**t around the Ogre house and the weekend aint helped.

Man, don't ya hate it when you pay in full for a knife on the exchange with the agreement that it "will go out on Monday", then the next weekend comes and no blade? Then, you email the dude to just get an update and don't even get a response? I know he's been on BF at least twice since I sent my email too.

I don't really care if it takes two weeks to send me an already completed knife, but just be honest and say "I'll mail it when I get around to it." Don't BS me.

Ok rant over. I'm gonna go have a Bulleit and Coke, and chase it with a fat cigar! Saturday complete!
 
Dang. Every time I look in this thread there are pictures of bacon. Makes me hungry. Wasn't there a hog sticker BK9 version produced a while back? I'd like a to see somebody make some bacon with one of those. That would be some legendary BK&T bladeforums action. Just sayin'
 
There are some small rectangular bumps on the horizon to left of my BK16. That's Seattle. Very far in the distance.

there's this "practicalbushcraft1" dude on the esee forum (supposedly teaches survival out in ohio or minnesota) that keeps mentioning how many beckers he's broken (once on the how to sharpen an esee-4 thread, a made in the usa thread, and a good deal bk-2 thread) and 3 times i've asked him politely to post pics of them but keeps ignoring me, lol.
 
Cap, that bacon looks delicious, all of it. Though, I was really eyeing the Strongbow. One of my faves! We only get it in 4 pack pint cans here.

Alas, I am Kingless for a couple weeks. It's for a good cause though.

I responded to his stupidity.
 
just did something boneheaded and cut myself with one of my own knives.
knew it was stupid as I was doing it. oh yeah, nearly out of band-aids too!

definitely past bedtime.
 
This morning the cat walked proudly in the door with a live mouse in his mouth and started playing with it inside. Not what I wanted to see. After a while I managed to catch the mouse and decided to put it in a glass and see how the cat reacted. He was a little confused.
