Damn. I feel like I did a 10 mile flatwater paddle in 100 degree heat. The AC and cold watermelon are goooooooooood.
 
I was going to make milkshakes, but the ice cream stash is low. Off to the store...

NICE....I have a NINJA blender too, made smoothies this afternoon, put a whole head of lettuce in there to healthen it up, you can't really tell it's in there except for all the little green specks. That NINJA blends the hell out of stuff.
 
Back from D.C. Great trip. Did an incredible amount of stuff, learned a lot. Amazing place. The Founding Fathers were such badasses.

Now back to reality. Ugh. Researching marriage counselors tonight.

At least I get to go up in the work helicopter Tuesday and my mountain place this weekend.
 
Dang ol computer keeps screwing up. Lost all my presets in the GIMP program. Damn.
 
Howdy been busy fiddling with a truck Thrill wouldnt take off my hands. Picking Blackerries,paddling, tending broody chickens, grinding on my knife and scout camp. Back to work tomorrow maybe I will get caught up here.
 
today's project -- making a lot of O1 & aluminum oxide dust because it was too hot to mow.

Ok, wow, what a rodeo this last 3 weeks has been. I have been home a grand total of 3 days all this last week, and today, I have a hearing scheduled at 9:30 in the morning, glad I came home to a stack of mail and my hearing papers were on top. :D

In a few weeks, I'll be leaving on a week long trout fishin' trip on Thunderhead Mountain.

Mission status states we must pack light and fast, so, my pack will be less than 12lbs, and we will be eating fresh trout and fixin's from what we can scrounge. :D

Can't wait.

Catface came out of his corner on his own and had a bit to eat. Looking quite weak, but some appetite is a good sign.
 
How's Monday everyone? I've got a decently busy work day keeping me going and looking forward to some trigger time on the range tonight.
 
Sorry if I'm late, but have you guys seen the equipped to endure interview with Ethan Becker about the new kitchen knives. I will be happy to own those. There's a great shout out to the Beckerheads at the end!
 
Totally off topic (even for the snark/chat thread), but I'm seeking advise. How long would ya'll wait before starting a GBU thread for a transaction gone (apparently) wrong?

Nine days ago, I paid for a blade from a maker on the exchange (this was a completed knife, not a custom order). No blade has shown and he will not respond to my PM's asking for an update. I figure if I make it to two weeks with no blade and no response, I'll start a GBU and hopefully that will get his attention.

Is two weeks too soon, or should I wait a little longer?

2 weeks is reasonable for shipping delays unless it was coming in from out of country, but the lack of communication is still worthy of a GBU thread.
