I see what you did there..lol

I'm eating M&M peanuts and having a glass of milk. Another wild Friday night. Here's my trailhawk.

Don't worry. I'll take one for the team and drink it. If it ever rains again, I'll bring some north. I can ride my skateboard to a store that sells it for $1 a bottle.

Guys please help:

Case Slimline Trapper VS. Case Sodbuster Jr.

Which and why? Wanna pick up my first Case knife and I am torn.

I really love my Yellow sod muster Jr. That knife really surprised me with how well it holds an edge. It can definitely fight above its weight class being a little slip joint. Never had a slimline trapper though so I speak on that.

Man, I love this ulu/skinner this guy made. He cut the end of a machete off for the blade, and added yew wood scales, copper tubes, and a mustard patina. Freakin' beautiful:

Pretty cool. Looks like a little carving knife.

I'm diggin that yella Soddy in the background...... but good job salvaging that NS, looks pretty good for a salvage job!

So.... I went out in the shop with the intentions of just jimping my new 14.....well I got a lil carried away. I'm waiting for my new scales to get here before I take any pics though.

Thanks guys, no idea what I am really going to use it for but I'm sure I'll think of something or someone to pass it off to eventually. As for my sod buster, still love that thing.

Can't wait to see that 14 thrill. I have been looking at mine lately wondering what I could do to it maybe yours will spark some ideas.

That is really a cool looking piece Dubz! Moose told me awhile back about one of the best ulu's he'd ever seen also being the simplest. He said a guy took a skil saw blade, quartered it, ground the saw teeth off and formed a continuous edge. Set the cut portion into a simple wooden handle and bikkity bam!

been busy, 50% more hours at work - paid

mtn biking more ... good

trying to buy a house. actually, just finalized P&S terms. then the inspections...

needed money, sold about 85% of my knives, including all rare Beckers, directly to Ethan.

one would believe that if one were perhaps partaking of moonshine too much.

but really. house!

.22LR would be faster and easier. :D
The tricky part aint teaching them to use the toilet, the tricky part is teching them to FLUSH.

trickier to teach them to stop, when you realize they do it 24x7 and you see your first water bill :)

then you might need the .22LR

You guys are all comedians! and you all just scracthed yourselves off the complementery M-18 list!

that probably bumps me up to #425?

which is probably good, i'm going to be short money for a while :)

@ Murph... S A M M I C H is how it's spelt, aint it?

@ Rogue, either one will serve ya, whichever style floats your boat.

@ Dubz... awesome work on the cleaver, and that ulu is indeed very freakin cool!

@ NS, I dunno if what I have done will be liked by anyone but me, but i will post up some pics here in a couple days. LOL y'all can scoff and make mockery then ;)

spent the evening profiling, centerpunching, and eating mac'n'cheese (homemade) at Rock'n'Roll Knife & Tool.
came home, snaked the house drain (I'm an expert). Now a damn shower.

16 hours today, I'm beat like a drum. Tomorrow it's working on some g10 stuff and then back to work.

Grats on the new pad Bladite! I am 1 1/2 years into my first house right now, it is definitely a difficult financial venture!! Good luck and enjoy your new real estate.

Hangin out at the lake this weekend. Went for a real nice paddle yesterday, but now my white belly is bright red and hurts! I even used sunscreen must have been old lol.

Dude, you were drunk. For future reference...

This is cooking oil.

This is sunscreen.

:D

Seriously, the latter stuff is the best sunscreen I've ever used. Goes on light. 70 SPF is like being in the shade.
And dermatologists seem to recommend the Neutrogena stuff more than any other brand. Mine did.

I coach my boys little leauge team. We are in the tourney now. We just crushed our rival team 27 to 9. I couldn't be prouder of my boys! They looked like major leaugers today. We have one boy that had to have emergency hip surgery last week. Won't be able to try to walk for almost 2 months. He showed up today in a wheelchair to root on his team.the boys decided umongest themselves to give him the game ball. As I said. I couldn't be prouder of my boys!
