Moving forward with fixing the elements of my life that are root causes but that'll take time and oh yeah will also get much worse before it gets any better. Short term fix ideas, anyone?

Do you have any hobbies? For me when I get like that I either drive or cook. For some reason those two let me relax a LOT. Maybe try working a knife on a stone. Like Derek said, that is rough. Sorry to hear that man.

My favorite professional fireworks display is still going on tonight even though many have been cancelled here in CO. I will be at a BBQ across the street. My friend requested I "bring that crazy Machax so you can cut up some wood for my smoker."

hot and humid today. full Summer. there's a 4 day camping trip that started today, but i won't be able to get their until late Friday, and it's over Sunday 2pm promptly, but at least it's close. would be there now, except someone stole my credit card information online somewhere (frakken Carders) on Tuesday and i've been hassling to get a new one until Friday morning (if i'm lucky), with a $$ extortion fee for "expediting" it. they sure can expedite CANCELING my card first without telling me, and without promptly getting a new one two me (5-10 business days my assets). grumble. pisses me off. sure, first world problem? but vastly annoying.

oh hey, freedom day. i'd celebrate, but i don't feel terribly free these days. govt sucks at most levels. founding father's would probably be shocked. that people allow the govt to take 1/3 of our incomes? right off the top? then continue to tax the remainder at other levels? outrageous ;)

i'll quit lest i get too political. enjoy your day folx.

yah, i feel ya. monkey brain going crazy some nights, though better. various pains, better. exercise is a big help. drinking doesn't do me any good.

cool room, earplugs, and blinders are about all i can manage.

that and good books. in two months, i should be in a different place, and have different routine, and hopefully, more peace of mind for a LITTLE while.
 
This sucks, all the fireworks displays around here are cancelled. I have NEVER not seen/had fireworks on the Fourth! I am now cranky.


On a better note, got my pimptastic knife from Daizee delevered to me today. Awesome Awesome work brother! This thing is FLAWLESS, you have serious skills and I can tell you really take your time and make sure EVERY tiny lil detail is done to your satisfaction. Thanks for your labor my friend, I love this thing. Smaller then I expected too, which is actually a good thing, I dont have many knives in that size range other then the 11 and 14.

I will have some pics up later, right now it is being passed around by all the kinfolks, I may have to make sure it dont go home with somebody else LOL

Just got a can of Ballistol with a small order of knife-making supplies.
Anybody have experience using the stuff for knife maintenance?

I use it for rust prevention because it's non toxic. Works great.
 
Daiz. I LOVE this thing, I have been testing it out, freaking sweet Brother!

I may have to get a big brother for it....that's how much I'm digging it. You my friend are a freaking ARTIST!
