BeckerWest, april 19th-21st, 2013 Eugene OR.

I am really looking forward to the fire contest this year! I plan on using my lucky little bk11 that I won in the first forum contest we ever had here.

Not sure yet kind of depends if she starts her plumbing apprenticeship by then or not.

Hopefully she can make it. Her wild edible walk is always something I look forward to.
BTW I picked up that book Plants of the Pacific Northwest Coast by Jim Pojar you recommended at the first gathering. Really great book, thanks...

i will find out in a week or 2, i will put in the request tomorrow, just wanted to make sure rrr got his time off and could drive this time

Just so everyone knows I'm coming for sure!! I have the time off, and the truck to get me down there :D

I'm also going to be bringing a couple of people with me; well hopefully..... :)

No problem. I'm not a huge fan of nails either

UPDATE: I just cut down two large apple trees (ah apples trees? why oh why?? you might be asking......well the fruit was inedible and has been for years and I'm tired of picking the apples off the ground every year) in my backyard today. I will be bringing a bunch of that (well, as much as I can fit in the bed of the truck, to use and disperse (I'm not sure how much I can bring, but we will see. The trunks I am in the process of splitting, and the limbs (3 to 5 inch thick) were cut into roughly 12 to 15 inch long pieces. I am leaving them as is for all us batoning freaks.

Unfortunately my work commitments prevent me from attending but I look forward to all the posts/pics!
