BeckerWest, april 19th-21st, 2013 Eugene OR.

Did we get word of anyone who may have medical skills that may come?

Yay on the chili thing! If you need me to do some grocery shopping I can do the legwork on it as far as getting what he needs. E is going to need a really big pot - I don't have one of those.

dont forget the pics and vids too share with us east coasters. we need some too tide us over untill may!

Looking foward to another great get together! I will try and have a few blades with me and if I can sort some stuff out I may bring along my old "holster" box of un used gun stuffs. The Eugene knife show is the weekend before so if you can, stop by and say hi!

I'd love to stop in to say hi, but I have to work. I will see you at BW. I really dig your Reality Check Knives!

Is that body armor bro? That's on the list this year for me too. Bring it for sure.

Ummm, are puppies allowed? We have 4 of them that we'd need to bring with us.

Also, we have a homemade Dynamed bag that we could bring. I'm so-so in the medical department. I'm not EMT but received regular training on the basics for years.

Regarding dogs, I 'll say that the first BeckerWest we had, There were 3 dogs present, one of them was sick and crapped all over the campground several of us stepped in it or pitched tents on top of it. One of the others bit BeckerHead oso_blanco when he startled it by walking by. The third dog was just all over the the camp and into or begging everyones food, I walked away from my dinner for just a couple moments and when I got back it was gone. Also they run through the bushes and get poison oak all over themselves. It was a miserable experience in my opinion, Now if someone had a way to mitigate the grievances a few of us had, by maybe keeping the dogs out of camp, I'd be open to the idea. Also keep in mind it's 1200 acres so there's plenty of places to make camp away from the main camping area.

I say no dogs no matter what, it's easy to say it won't be a problem online but its another thing when it comes to doing it.

I wouldn't want my opinion (not that its worth a shit anyways) to deter anyone from coming, but, Widerstand and Fal'er are right.

All else I can say is......."Those who ignore the past are doomed to repeat it"

Don't get me wrong I like dogs but it really sucks when on both sides when you need to find a dog owner and tell them to pick up dog shit or to tie them up...etc. Also they scare away wildlife which is not fun.

Trying to find a ride because I don't think my girlfriend can take friday off, and she'll have the car. I don't know, if anyone is into the idea of carpooling :D
I don't live too far away depending on where you're coming from. ...Worth a try. :ambivalence:
