Hey Fal'er. Awesom-O and I are thinking about heading down Thursday night after work. Are you going to be there early as usual? We have been a day late the past two gatherings and want to try to be there from the start this time.
 
I'm not going to be able to make it. Kinda bummed but I got a new job and start wednesday so it's for a positive reason. I have like like 7 pounds of bacon that I was going to bring that I don't know what to do with now :D Hope ya'll have fun and cheers from me.

Hopefully I'll be there in the fall with even more knives and guns :)

My wife just read this and said "you're just mad you don't get the bacon". Which, by the way, is not at all true.

It's black forest peppered organic fancy bacon too. Just sayin' :D

I was looking forward to meeting all ya'll as well. When I try to get my buddies up here to go to the woods and play with knives for the weekend I usually get a scared look. Was looking to hang with some like minded people but alas it will have to wait.

FAL'ER has a point, if you can find any way to get out of it, you will want to, or at the very least make a day trip out of it, because meeting Ethan is definitely an experience worth having.

Dang now I really want to go! Can't really call in sick first week on the job though. Hmmm. I'll know more once I report for my first day of work tomorrow. Supposedly I have training on saturdays first 3 weeks but I'll see what I can do...

Maybe I'll show up sat night and be there for the end sunday morn.

Yeah, Eero, you gotta make it. I know we do not know each other but, I was looking forward to meeting as many people as I could from this area.

And, I may be 3 1/2 hours south of Seattle but I'd be willing to drive up from time to time. I have a few friends who live up there who love the outdoors as well (they aren't knife nuts like me though....hunters and the like)

Brang yo ass Foo!!! LOL (even if its for 18 hours or so)

Here is a pic of the pot. It's actually a 15.5 quart. If this is what you will need, then I will bring it. As you can see, it has never been used. We bought it for camping but never have had a chance to use it, so it sits in the garage on the shelf.

I'm buying some AR500 armor plate for us to shoot at down in the amphitheater. Bring guns, bring ammo.
 
So.....this isn't easy. I just got home from the er and I'm going to be out of work for at least a week. Then I have an unexpected large expense hitting me at the end of the month also. What does that mean? It means I physically feel like shit and shouldn't go down there. I won't have much money to pay what needs be paid. And I'm so not happy about this. I was very much looking forward to seeing everyone again. I miss you guys.
