Stone makes legendary beer! The knife in my avatar is my opinel 8 I made G10 scales for. Added some sweet hardware while I was at it. Here's a better pic.

I thought of a system out of 5 leaving to few choices for ratings. 10 makes sense and I'm all for implementing a system here. A 10 better be life changing though

That voodoo is 6.9/10
Better have some bacon and eggs in the morning to wake up!

I've had a few 8.5/10. Just can't remember what they were ;) Good excuse to keep experimenting.

I’ll do it. Keep it casual. Leave the door open to come back and add * if on a 2nd/3rd try, your opinion changes. Leave notes. Whatever.

3 better than warm changa
5 domestics Coors bud the like (btw if Coors or bud equal a 10 to you the rights to you posting in this thread are over)
6 to 7 craft beer greatness where you would definately come back for more
8 to 9 is akin to a superior brew
10 should be rarely if ever used as we would all need to have a group experience in reaching higher consciousness type beer that exceptionally perfect

Thoughts? Objections?

I also would love to see multi paragraph artsy tasting notes.... “spicy overtones of ash fronds wrapped in blood orange essence and kissed by eucalyptus blooms”. I love that $h!t. :D Some of my wine friends crack me up with these kinda descriptors.:rolleyes:

Yup. Or “it’s a good morning beer...”

One of my friend has a beer app that he uses to keep track of what he drinks and if he likes them. I might do the same. Not for flowery tasting notes, just to remind myself if I like a beer. I just forget if I liked many of the beers I try.
