I cannot do colored anodizing right now. But Maprik does offer this for the longest time. He can master any color you can imagine.
Until I get my anodize station set up in a few weeks I can only do OXY work with a dark gun metal gray color in the grooves and a hand rubbed finish on the surface area.
Matt :)

Thanks buddy. :)

For a few of you and you know who you are, 1 out of 10 customers. My turn around time is 1-2 weeks unless there is a problem. I talk to 75% of you on the phone when an order is placed as well as updates with actual projects and not a simple scale. So for you few pain in butt guys. Please do not keep asking me if your knife is done with attitude at the one week mark.
I love doing this. But please learn to relax. Especially if I tell you not to pay until I complete it. My turnaround time is MUCH better than most.
Thank You
Matt

Awesome job, A++.

Had my knife back in less than a week, awesome communication. Thanks Matt!

Wow this looks great! I'll be sure to do a review and some pictures once I receive it. Excellent communication and a pleasure to work with! I look forward to doing more business with you sir. I for sure feel as though I gained a new friend the communication was so excellent. Thank you very much!

This is noted on my initial front page of this thread.
I just want to point out that I have been getting an overwhelming response to my work lately. Due to the fact that I am working at the same quality but at 80% pace from the surgery.
All orders from here on out will be 2-4 weeks. Still faster than some folks will answer an email.
Just want to throw that out there. I have about 1 dozen jobs reaching the two week mark that will be going out on time. And about a dozen that are going out in under a week.
Just ask me in email and I will give you an honest turn around time.
Matt

I'll get pics up by tomorrow but just wanted to say thank you, Matt! The scale is gorgeous and fit and finish are perfect! I couldn't be happier!

Edit - Uploaded some pictures! Thanks again, Matt! The scale is beautiful and flawless!

The fit and finish are absolutely superb! The jimping matches up perfectly and I love the thickness and I really love how it's exactly thick enough to finish off the patters on the sides of the scale! I honestly don't think there's any way I could be happier!

Oh my lord.
Absolutely gorgeous.
If you've still got the materials, I'd love to talk to you about it.
I'll email you.

Hey pal, thanks for making me have a big ole grin. I appreciate it. I have got enough to make a small coffee table, which means I can choose the best looking patterns on it to suit your taste. There are areas with 50% red for really crazy pattern too.~~
Send me an email at bellablades@yahoo.com

Email sent. From "emailRasco"
A 50-50 look would suit me just fine. I've got a project going where I'm trying to "red & black"-ize some of my favorite knives.

I will email you a picture of the slab and you can choose the exact pattern area that you want me to use.
Matt

Shop down since this morning

1.NEW 1HP Buffer/Grinder Setup pops my breaker. I do have protection strip so it does not reach basement, just need to upgrade something down there. Hope I don't get electrocuted.
2.Drill Press Chuck developed a really pleasant wobble :( . I have the replacement, assembling in the morning.

Besides that, physical therapy sucks and I could use some sleep.
Otherwise have a great night folks, just checking in!
Matt

Other than that.... Is my knife done :)
Take care of yourself.... Health and safety first.
Thanks for the update.

So guys here is the low down on work.
I am still accepting work orders but things will be slowed a little . Maybe limited to 5 jobs per week.
For now. I have 3 full days next week and I will have all orders since my surgery recovery up to date.
Still meeting all 2-4 week deadlines. As you all know surgery was 3/6. So I am just thankful to be getting things done after only a month.
Besides a small job for Weasel 3(Thanks for the support) and Niccogi here is list of jobs to be completed next week before I start 50 hours a week at the job.
-0550 Dishcore/ Thank you for the business cards. It was my epic unbox!
-Skyline
-0561
-2 Emersons for Colu
-GB and Impala
-0700
-2 sebbie 25's
-0350
There may be a few more. But all of you should be complete with pictures. This is 90% of the jobs remaining.
Thank you for your support. And I hope that 2-4 weeks was worth it, while working a bit slow with recovery.
I am just happy that I will be healed up and like im 18 again by summer. That is really all that matters to me. Then doing jobs for you guys at midnight will be easy as pie.
Matt
