Belt Grinder Modeled After The JL Grinder

I too would like to see a "starter" grinder offered by some1 of these obvious skills to build grinders....on a side note about the comment of ethics over legalities. Its a damn nice sight to see in this day in age when legalities over shadow all for mentioned ethics. At least some bladeforum members have there priorities straight...

That's a great looking machine Enrique......I can't imagine needing any more in a grinder.

Here are some pictures of my other grinder. What is cool about it is that you never have to change attachments on it unless you want to put a small wheel attchment which I'm working on at the time. What I do have is an attachment for doing swedges or false edges on blades but do not have any pictures of it at the time. If intrested it comes with a 2hp motor and a variable speed controller. It's powerfull !!. It has a 3" and an 8" wheel and a rest that is adjustable. Tell me what you guys think of it.

Hmmmm... I may have to sell my JL grinder, I like this one

It appears Tom Krein bought the "rights" to Imageshack too.

Comments like this don't belong in this thread. Tom and Enrique have settled matters between themselves and it's frankly none of our business.

Well i bought a J&L a couple years ago..and im happy with it..or at least i was til i saw Enrique's design at johnny stouts and harvey deans hammer in..it tracks smoother than my j&l even with the economy belts..but i dont sell enough knives for a second machine..when i do ..ill call Enrique first. By the way Enrique..very classy move, though i would expect nothing less..later Luke

Many of us forget, Mr. George Herron was the father of the "Bader" design.

The above statement can be validated

Mr. Herron, raised the bar for all knife makers - and think what he gave us in belt grinder design.

Mr. Enrique Pena, does not have to copy a design - Enrique's, grinder concepts are far beyond any belt grinder design that I know about.

This thread just shows what has been proven many times through the years here on Blade Forums!
Knife people are good people!!!

Im with the farmer phil ,I said before its a pimped out grinder A little pricey but you get what you paid for. As far as all the rude comments basicly calling you a thief and all the crap its exactly just that CRAP . Its like saying I invented bottled water never patented it but gave a guy 2 bits for a drink once. Come on people lighten up . If its not patent its fair game .Way way to much drama.I think Tom and enrque will work it out. Im with phil Ide like to know if I could hook it up to my john deer.

"big wheels keep on turnin!"
honestly, enrique, the epg grinder appears to be superior design to the jl, at least in terms of flexibility.
i'm glad you've decided to market this design - i think it's a real winner.
i want one!
