Is the clip machined titanium?
Wow. This looks impressive. How did I not realize this was coming out until now?
My only concern is it might be a tad large for my tastes. I used to own a 710 and I never really carried it since I'm more partial to the size of the 707 or Small Sebenza.
Anyone have a comparison pic with a Large and Small Sebenza?
Open-pillar construction?
Yes open back spacers.
There are some good vids on YouTube. Mine is showing out for delivery!
will BKC replace the clip on the new 761 if needed?
Hmmm....this guy really likes his 761 but says the blade is off-center, like so many recent BM's.
Also, this is another BM that requires that you remove the clip in order to access the pivot.
My Volli is like that and it's a major pain in the butt.
Good grief! I was about to pull the trigger on one of these beautiful 761s, but this is making me reconsider.

That video made you reconsider getting one? All he did was heap loads of praise on it. Lost count of how many times he said it was like a custom and how excited he was about the knife.
Oh well, mine is dead on center, it's the only production knife I've ever owned ( Except a Sebenza) that I went over with a lupe and a flashlight and couldn't find any flaws.
It truly is an awesome knife as far as I'm concerned.
I agree having to remove the clip to adjust the pivot is annoying but it's the trade off I guess for the design you get which is all kinds of awesome. Fortunately the action on mine is so smooth and lock up perfect I don't have any need to adjust the pivot but then again you never know.
On the Volli, the pivot's not accessable by removing the clip; the left scale needs to be removed. It's located underneath.
I just pulled the trigger on a 761.
