Happy almost Thanksgiving from a very stormy Virginia. Question is: will BKC replace the clip on the new 761 if needed?
I just don't understand why companies leave so little material at the cut out.
Looks nice though.
Yeah, I guess I shouldn't have said I don't understand why they do it. It just bothers me that the cut outs are made so thin to accommodate for some people. But again, I understand that it's the best option in production knives or so many wouldn't be like that. Just wishful thinking I guess, if we're going to act like frame locks are stronger than liner locks we shouldn't ignore that titanium is weaker than steel and many frame lock cut outs are thinner than liner locks. To reduce the amount of force needed to open it. Otherwise, one of the things that happens is that people will take the knife apart, bend the locker to reduce the spring tension, and wind up sacrificing the reliability of the lock. I think it usually winds up looking like the lesser of two evils.
It carries very well in the pocket because it's so light and thin. I think it's closest to CRK Sebenza 25 or Sebenza 21 Large but thinner and lighter but wider. It's actually smoother than the Sebenza!! The clincher is that it's about $80-$115 less than Sebenza Large 21 or Sebenza 25 and you get M390 vs. S35VN!
I can't take this knife seriously for some reason. The design makes it look like it is a Chinese produced knife.
