Benchmade customer service??

I've used them several times and have always been happy. One time I asked them not to sharpen the knife and they did anyway. I suppose that's one ding.
 
Contacted them a couple of months back by email and got a reply within a day or two. I had a problem and couldn't trust sending the knife back to Benchmade (I live in the UK). I'd probably never see it again once it hit customs.

They sent the part all the way to Scotland, and didn't charge me a penny. Thanks to Alexandria for the great service.

That's excellent service from Benchmade, irons. :thumbsup:
 
Indeed. I would think/hope that Benchmade will continue to provide the best CS that they can, taking into account us that can't avail ourselves of Lifesharp/warranty, and ship out internal parts.

Maybe they can far surpass that "other" American made knife maker by providing parts to customers when needed?
