Benchmade does not condone the Ganzo rip off of the Axis lock!

Forget about the Ganzo for now. Let's focus on another criminal knife manufacturer. After all the topic is the axis lock and how you say even look a likes are a violation of a patent.

Let us know what you think about Shirogorov T100NS axis lock.

Hey! Look over there! A squirrel!

:D

I think you are missing the point of the statement that you were given by BM.

A: There are locks that they feel violate their patent.
B: There are locks that they do not feel violate their patent.

They have pursued a few of A. That does not mean that all they have not pursued fall into B.

BM told you that. They didn't tell you what are in A or B. You don't know. I don't know. We all don't know.

But at no point does it logically follow that if they do not pursue a lock, it is in B.

Sorry.

You are not reading facts. You are in the least inferring inaccuracies and at the worst lying just to argue. I have nothing to prove to you. In fact it is quite the opposite.

Not even one r-bomb or a "son". Doubtful he could change his ways so much.

What I refuse to do is call you a liar, or say you are inaccurate. I'm on the same side as you but you just don't convince me. It looks more like a country of origin problem with you. That's called an agenda.

So stop with the liar, not posting the truth BC. I want to believe you are right but I am not seeing any factual information to jump on the band wagon yet. Why no hate at all for the Russians ripping off BM? You only talk about criminal actions by Ganzo. It's not a Ganzo issue, it's a axis lock issue.

As always so far for not believing what I've read I went straight to the source specifically on the Shirogorov illegal activity.

If you get this closed with your name calling I will start a new thread for you.

That right there is spot on.

What is also spot on is no one here can tell benchmade who to go after. No one can tell any of us what is and is not an illegal rip off.

I left that decision to benchmade. As long as the similar designs are being sold there is no problem until benchmade informs its customers about brand X doing illegal activity.

It's like a jury of 12. There must be proof beyond a reasonable doubt. There is so much doubt right now that no one is obligated to tell anyone what or what not to buy or what is or is not legal or illegal.

Again, not sure of what any of that has to do with the topic being discussed.

Good day.

You are not posting the truth and I don't know if you are lying or not. That is what I said. If you had been around here for more than a minute you would have seen that I own plenty of knives made in China. You are once again spuriously grasping at straws that are leading you to make inaccurate statements.

You have not shown Benchmade is fine with the Ganzo copies and I have in fact shown that they are not. Benchmade does not condone the Ganzo copies of their Axis lock like you claim. Sorry, that is a fact Duane and it is the point of this thread.

craytabs not name calling he telling someone else that your not a guy named boris who got banned, boris had several distinct things he said and craytab was just telling him you haven't said the key things boris usually said.

If this thread gets locked, don't start a new one. If you want to argue go to the whine and cheese section of bladeforums. I recommend you drop it because it leads no where and you wont convince anyone.. basically just wasting time.

Well this is like banging your head against a door.

Benchmade has said they do not condone the Ganzo rip off. You seem to keep missing that fact.

Thanks for taking the time to do that, craytab. I don't know how to put this exactly, but the only people who care are probably those who cared before you posted it. Those who didn't care probably still don't.

Have a nice day. :)
Not true. I wasn't aware until this post. (head in sand?)

He also claimed Ganzo calls their axis lock the axle lock.

Fast tech and other retailers in Hong Kong have this in the product description

Details:
Blade material: 440C
Handle material: G10
Lock system: Axle lock

The river site calls it an axle lock.

If BM wanted their similar lock to not be sold it would be easy for them to have the river site pull them with just a threat. Haven't seen it yet. Maybe email them again and let them know the river site needs to pull it.

Edit to clarify. I'm not proving anything. I'm with you on this. So take it easy in your response. If I were as passionate about it as you are I would be hitting that contact us tab on the BM site pretty quickly.

It does. I'm all for shutting down legitimate rip offs for good. What I am not for is someone telling everyone what is and is not right. BM could get the river site to pull them fast if they were an actual copy of patented material and not just a similar design.

It seems like if he can get to them again we would get a better clarification on their stance on what is and is not a copy. I've seen products get pulled from the river site with just customer complaints, so BM would have no problem at all. If he gets them to pull them, we have our definitive conclusion to Ganzo. Then we have the issue with Shirogorov lying about getting a license from BM to make the axis lock.

Shut them down!

Still wrong Duane. The Ganzo website lists it as the Axis lock as of the last thread you wrongly argued this point in. Grasping at straws now.

And with that I'm done. It is clear Duane just wants to argue at just about everything without admitting to any of the inaccuracies he is spreading.
