Benchmade MPR?

I wish they made a full size version... then I could tip up it and wave it.

Why the heck does that beauty have to be tip down?:(

I've read where others have mentioned that BM will not produce a tip up framelock or liner lock for legal reasons.

The MPR is a little guy which might be a good candidate for clipless carry.

Looks plenty big to me! I don't like having huge folding knives in my pockets. I have been looking for a beefy folder and this seems to fit the bill. AND it's tip down which I prefer. I'd like to hear some more about the steel though. Might have to preorder this one :)

M390 steel? That's nothing I've ever heard of before. Anyone have any info on it?

My dealer showed me the catalog today and said he'll have one as soon as he can. It sure looks like something I need.

That knife is a dream. I love the fat blade stock and that titanium pocket clip. I hope they follow up with the Silbert Monster rocket.

Kershaw is using M390 for the cutting edge on their new Volt knife with a D2 spine. If M390 can make D2 play second fiddle than it must be something special.

TKC has the original custom from Sibert, I'm curious what she'll say

I searched that thread and they look very similar. I might have to go to the dark side and try tip down. Looks like a very sweet knife.

I wish they made a full size version... then I could tip up it and wave it.

I wonder about a 3.4 inch blade and then they tell me its a 3.8 inch frame. That adds up to 7.2 inches and this is the listed specs:

I'm guessing the OAL and Closed length are wrong. The picture suggests a much larger frame.

Per Benchmade there's a mistake in the catalog. The actual blade length of the MPR is 2.9"

I will certainly be picking up a benchmade 755, 741 this year and possibly one of those Benchmade 172 Axe's.. Looks like Benchmade is coming out with some great products this year..
