Thanks! They are just a Chris Reeve knot (at least what he uses on his knives). Funny enough, I showed my friend how to tie it and hers turned out better than mine. I'll re-tie mine and make the "coil" part a little longer. I find those lanyards help me pull the knife out of my front pocket easier.

edit: I'm envious of all those Grips, Bear Claw. I think they are my favorite folder so far!
