Benchmade VS. Spyderco: issue solved

After years of hearing Benchamde or spyderco is the best over each other i'm begining to loose my mind. Not because of the fighting of who is better, but because the companies haven't taken this opportunity to make some serious $$$$$.


MY question to the forum is: why hasn't benchmade and spyderco done a collaboration with each other??? SERIOUSLY can someone make this happen!?!?!?!

my other question is: if they did what would it look like???

If ya got ideas post em up!!! i want to know, i have a few ideas that i would like to see
 
I don't know what it would look like, but I want one. All of my favorite Benchmades have the Spyderhole.
 
I don't know about that happening after BM helped themselves to the opening hole without asking first.
 
I would like to see the bastard child of that relationship. It could surprise us all. Could happen. You can run Windows on MAC.
 
940 with full steel liners and standoffs, and of course with the spydie hole. Or a Tuff with an axis lock :eek:

Ya that was a bit of a jack*** move, but on the other side it gives spydie all the more reason to do it and be the first to put em out

SO do i, thus the post

i would like to see a Mix between a Spyder Navaja and a BM AFCK style handle(806-701 model), or a navaja W/ and axis

My top want would be a spydie kiwi with an axis and a CF scales

Also I am not sure what kind of collaboration would attract me. Spyderco is doing great job by themselves. I do not see anything that Spyderco can take from BM to improve performance of their knives.

I dont care if it improves anything, just as long as it is the same quality from the 2, I want them to do something weird, unique and cool Just for the heck of it

Also another what if would be BM and CR(mainly the sebbies)
 
They have done a collaboration. You obviously haven't seen or heard of the Benchmade ParaGrip and the Spyderco Griptilianix. Both pictured below:

Its my opinion that only Benchmade would benefit. However, I do like Benchmade designs and the fact that most are US made.
