So i just got my knife back from Benchmade, and boy has this been a long journey. totaling 72 days, on top of a few weeks trying to get a hold of them, and wow 0.o what a mess, I'm not really in any mood to type everything out, but i did make a video about it, which you can see here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fi8CFlt9CHw

but let me tell you, what a mess.

Your unreasonable expectations seem to be the cause of the woes, than the warranty service of Benchmade. Please educate yourself on Canadian customs rules, and why that cranking is necessary (the search function on this forum will certainly help you with it). Four weeks is a typical turnaround time for a knife warranty service, given the number of parts changed. They even reimbursed you the shipping costs in cash (easiest, since mostly they did not have your paypal or bank account), and your knife was returned back in top shape. They are one of the few knife companies who stand behind their products, and run an excellent LifeSharp program. Some of your comments in the video on Benchmade's funds utilization were totally uncalled for. Benchmade seems to have treated you fairly through the deal.

I couldn't click the stop button on your video fast enough. Thirty second's of listening to your nauseating rant, was too long. It's people like you, & your unreasonable expectations, that really sour both private knife enthusiasts, & reputable maker's, such as Benchmade. After they bent over backwards, & gave you stellar service, you behave this way?!?! Do them a favor, & take your business elsewhere.

+1 Kudo's for being way too kind in your post

Listening to Koyzumie's, whiny voice, ruined my otherwise, splendid evening... :barf:

FWIW: I've used Benchmade's customer service, at least a half of dozen times, & they've always threated me professionally, & as a valuable customer.

Thanks K, you've made this easy; you've been added to my never to do business list...oh wait, you were already added back in April, right after you made your presence here, known...I don't quite remember exactly what my reasons were, but this thread, proves that my intuition, was spot on! Edit: I just skimmed through 2 pages of your posting history. Now I remember why: you have a history of polluting the PAID MEMBER'S sales thread's, with your incessant low ball offer's/I'll take it with a stipulation, posts. Here is a perfect example (one of many): http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...en-Spyderco-Tenacious?p=14724007#post14724007

Oh Boy, another GBU thread that is not going to have the intended consequences, but then again if your going to shoot yourself in the foot, letting everyone know is good for sh#ts and giggles.

Sometimes writing is much more effective than making a rant video, especially on a forum. It allows the writer to think a little before committing to a position. Customs can make all the difference in the world when it comes to buying, selling, just plain old shipping anything. When dealing with anyone, regarding anything at all, remember the 7Ps. If the issue requires a vlog of mumbling rants then it's probably best to go through a dealer to avoid the hassle. I didn't make it past the first 20 seconds of the video, there was a little too much pot vs kettle action going on there.

Koyzumie- For God's sake, PLEASE, no more, knife reviews!

FYI- I'd rather listen to 8 hours of that nutnfancy guy, than 1 minute of listening to your voice (& I don't watch N&F video's). I hate to be the bearer of bad news: reviewing anything, is not your forte.

^yep.

Seems they made right. Time for the op to move on and get over it.

Looks like we have a verified Grade A - Flaker and Low baller. This is going to be interesting to say the least. I was going to lock this thread earlier, but I think it deserves to stay open to show people the kind of ignorant things people do to sales threads.

You don't know this, but....

As a Canadian, you need to sign an Agreement to keep the others in line before they gives you the Internets.

It bothers me when these Divas believe that they're the only ones with a knife in BM's Repair queue. Actually.....we only have 10% of the USA's population up here (on a larger land mass), so....I guess these things can happen when a rogue gets loose on Mom's Commodore 64. I'll try to keep a better watch. That makes two of us, now. Me and That Other Guy.......watching Canuckians.

FUN FACT: Did you know that the FIRST Spyderco knife built in the USA was also their First Collaboration with a known Maker?

It was the Spyderco C15 (if my memory serves me correctly) and was a joint effort with Bob Terzuola.

It was built in Les de Asis' shop.

Interesting knife tidbit, or what?

:encouragement:

My goodness! Thanks for all the legwork Kelama and thank to rev for keeping this open.

What a complete a-hole. He should be dinged for every single time he pooped on a thread. Then he should be banned.

Ignore!

You posted this just to get more views on your YouTube video. I assure you that you will not get any more subscribers due to posting here.

Your video shows that you are both whiny and ungrateful.

Ignored...

We're going to have to hold OB to that, keeping things straight and orderly in 'Murica's Ball Cap. ;)

Reminds me of the old saying, "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak up and remove all doubt."

No. The journey was not 72 days. You cant count the time starting from when you began whining on YouTube from your moms basement as the startpoint. I, also, could not find the stop button fast enough. I regret hearing that prissy voice for as long as I did. I want my 5 minutes back. By the way nice attempt to get more YouTube viewers, I guess you got me, on that one, but now you will be put on ignore here especially now that you have been discovered to have been crapping in all these sales threads. I saw one where time elapsed from "ill take it" to "withdrawn" was like only 4 minutes. I guess you really do require unreasonably fast service.

Then you have the nerve to whine because they sent you 20+ dollars in the mail? How much does a pink griptillian even cost, like $60? As previously stated, give your mom her knife back. Go play outside and stop failing at YouTube. Or if you continue, STOP trying to drum up buisness using bladeforums. I dont know if you kids get paid from your YouTube disasters but you should use some of that, or the cash that Benchmade sent you to purchase a bladeforums membership and then ban yourself. You = :thumbdn::thumbdn:
