Benchmade Warranty Woes

How come he hasn't responded yet? Where are you?

He has probably realized his crap review is the least of our worries here in this community. The low balling and reneging is far more damaging. We don't need people who pull such crap around here.
 
This thread is wildly entertaining. Benchmade bent over backwards for him and he's complaining? The nerve of that is infuriating.

Glad to see he was shut down, good job Kelama especially.

The OP should have already been banned . Posting " I will take" then withdrawing is a no, no for sure. Sadly these guys screw the system over and over again and the mods allow it to happen over and over again. I, too like you John, (Kelama) once reported many of these infractions only to never get a reply or have a mod. attack my next post.. So with that in mind I decided to let it lie. Until someone steps up and protects the paying members on this forum, It will NEVER be first class. Sadly guys without memberships, free loaders, with little or no Itrade rating control much of BF. It seems post count, not membership or Itrade matter. I respect those guys with Itrade ratings, paid memberships and honor far more than the guys posting barbs on a daily basis. Paying members should have an advantage in both selling and buying. Paid memberships are what keeps this and all forums afloat. I am always amazed at the guys who do not pay a cent and how they are protected on this site in various forums, top to bottom. Now set back and watch who replies to this. Let a paying member do this or someone who reports infractions, and watch what happens.

By the tone of your overly produced youtube video, you are clearly more concerned with "being a youtuber" than you are the content of your video. As a courtesy, Benchmade replaces most components (screws, omega springs, and ironically usually the clip which you note was original, among other things) in what I believe is the spirit of "since we are under the hood anyway... so it's super lame of you to suggest these things were required to make the knife functional. As to your complaint that the action was tight, yup, it was. However, any knife lover that talks with the bravado that you do should be able to rectify that in less than 60 seconds (US or Canadian) with a few turns of the pivot and some locktight. If you didn't understand that last sentence, please stop posting knife reviews on the internet and on Bladeforums in general. In closing, please stop, you know, like everything you do. Good day sir!
 
I thought Benchmade was hella fair to you. Less than 30 days to get the knife from Canada and back, and they gave you over $20 to repay for shipping? Damn, they did you better than they have me, and I still praise their customer service.

I will say that getting in contact with them is usually not hard though. I normally call in, but they will reply to emails within a day or two generally. It is great that the worst you can say is that they were hard to get ahold of.
 
Yea that video sucked. I've only had good experience with benchmade, and you did too, you just can't realize it or just want to have something to complain about? Plus they refunded you? Also you know how borders work right? The packages are usually held there and that's not benchmade's fault. Bad review.

32 days is right on the money if you're in Canada, unless you think that you're first in line, and that there are 5 people waiting to work on your knife the moment it arrives.

I have used BM CS one time on a knife that I destroyed the pivot screw on.
Nicest people I have ever dealt with.....

Fixed my stupidity for free, cleaned up the knife, and put a fresh edge on it.

You can choose to put a negative spin on anything, and I guess that's the choice you've decided to make, just don't think we're all in that boat with you.....
 
Definitely unrealistic expectations. You cannot count the days from when you made initial contact.

It has taken 14 days before just to GET a knife to my CA buddy right up ^^^^^^ let alone have service done one it.

On top of that they gave you a hefty amount of money for shipping.

Why are you not happy??

Unfortnautely, BF Member, 10after10 (William Chu), had the misfortune, of having our resident lowball/flake, Koyzumie, get excited over one of his knives. No you haven't.

Glad it is 80% there but wish it was more like 110%! Seriously, did you watch his stupid video? How many sales threads has he bagged on? Constantly posting chat and offers in sales threads? Throwing Benchmade under the buss when he actually got excellent treatment? Now retaliatory feedback?

He clearly has never once read the rules here even though it was suggested to him.
