Beware Bends sent him 3 blind horse knives that were deliveried 1/24.
He emailed me the morning he was supposed to ship my knives and said he got bad news from home and had to get an airline ticket and fly home.
Emailed me a few more times said his friend would ship knives but couldnt find his spare key to his knife box.
Told me he would send them in a week or 2 when he got home. Know he will not answer any of my emails, but he has still been on this forum.
Beware
Thanks
Calemerson

2/10/2014 Bends was trying to make a trade. So I feel the OP is right to be concerned. other party should be as well.

other party , you have 15 positive feed backs. You really going to sell yourself out like this. I don't know whats going thru your mind but . It isn't worth ruining your name. Fix this before its to late. Material things are not worth it. If you have a single complaint about whats wrong with the world. Its muted by your own behavior. If you think life isn't fair or people don't care. Look in the mirror and realize. You are that person you don't like. Make this right for you. Don't go down this slippery slope. I always feel for the OP but honestly you are going to lose a lot more . Please , there are young men dying for our freedom and have since this countries birth. Please don't disrespect them or yourself. Honestly , your name is going to be plastered all over the internet and it will look like this. other party is a ______. It can stop now. Get a hold of Calemerson and give him back HIS knives. You have no right to steal from him. You will not get away scott free. Nobody ever does.

James

Bad on me for writing this.

Calemerson, I hope you don't mind. I sent him an email with my reply. nobody likes to feel bad about themselves but sometimes it seems greed just takes over their own ability to think rationally. I hope the other party realizes before its to late that these knives will cost him much more than there weight in gold. Nobody ever looks back on their wrong doings and thinks what a wise choice it was.

communication is the key!!! I find it hard to believe someone would destroy their credibility and integrity over three knives. Sadly it happens once and awhile here on BFC, the complete and utter destruction of one's reputation because they fail to recognize the importance of maintaining the lines of communication, especially when things are starting to go South.

I can only hope Brandon has a legitimate reason for not taking two minutes to answer an E-mail. I would think one's reputation is more valuable than a few knives and a few minutes....................

I ran a search and it appears to pretty much have all his posts just in the exchange forums. Hopefully he contacts you

I also hope, for everyone's sake, that this works out well.

My feelings are that there really isn't a huge amount of information given, nor timelines failures so pronounced, that any member can responsibly assume/assert that Mr. Endsley has intentionally done anything totally unacceptable as yet, albeit, answering the OP's latest emails would be a prudent move. Having said that, if Mr. Endsley's 2 week absence (+/-) is up or close to it (we weren't told those dates by the OP), he very well might have them ready for shipment or very close to the timeline that he and only the OP (at this point) are privy to.

If I was on track to complete a job for someone, or quite close to it as earlier agreed upon, and I received emails questioning the 'delay' in a less than neutral presentation, my response might be a bit different if I felt that I was doing all that was asked of me and I had been up front about needing to go out of town unexpectedly, having an issue accessing the knives or whatever. I'm not saying that the OP sent negatively provocative emails, but we don't know either way.

Again, Mr. Endsley may be the con-artist of the century and deserves member 1969's rather assuming sermon regarding unsubstantiated misdeeds and how Mr. Endsley should conduct himself ASAP and going forward, but given the very little information we do know, I'm thinking that this cart has been placed well before the horse.

YMMV...........

Magnumb , I hope your right, I don't benefit from being right.

James

Note: bends was last on the forum 2/14 3 days ago.

Cal,

no problem. 3 weeks is a long time. That is assuming he was suppose to ship the following Monday the 27th. Its good you brought this out. In the past people have failed at reporting this kind of thing. Only for it to happen again. If I personally jumped the gun I will certainly apologize to the other party. I am hopeful he will respond and this misunderstanding would be resolved.

James

P.S. I have apologized to the other party. Was never my fight. Magnumb help me see that .

Does anyone else think its a little strange that Bends would respond to JCP1969 email and not any of mine? Bends are you still in Kansas?

Cal, he responded because he thought I might be a moderator. You should forward his email I sent you to a moderator. RevDevil.

Hi Cal

Hope you get your knives back. Form this guy's profile I see that you have traded with him before and gave good feedback. Lets hope he is telling you the truth

P

Guys, look how long I have been around here buying, selling, trading, and giving away knives. Do you really think I would not have made any issue right if Bends had one and had contacted me instead of just ignoring my emails. Do a google search on Calemerson, I am all over Glock talk, smith forums, Knife Forums, Kahr Forums, Sig Forums. And to quote my FFL "I am one of the good guys".
I had a great trade last week with Yester 5.
Thanks
Calemerson

Cal , I believe you , but you need to contact a moderator and let them help you sort it out. My only contact ever with other party was to send him an email with a copy of the text from the second post of this thread.

Cal,
I emailed him yesterday as well before I saw James had, with a link to this thread.
Hope this gets resolved.

Doug

I hope we get an update on this soon. Cal have you tried contacting other party again yourself.?

I've stayed in contact with Cal through most of this process. It's been a very emotional and trying time for me, and like I told him several times, I appreciate his patience. I told Cal several times that I did not know exactly how long this whole thing would take. On two different occasions, Jan 25th and Feb 4th, I offered to have his knives shipped back. Both times he said no, he'd wait. At this point, I wish I had just had the package returned. When I finally got home and opened the package, one of the knives was missing. My first assumption was that he probably just forgot, but that's hard to swallow with how much time has passed. I think it would've been noticed by now. I will have what was sent to me sent back in the next couple of days. I should have contacted Cal immediately upon noticing the missing knife, and that I take responsibility for. I had/have so much else going on that I avoided the confrontation.

To magnumb, thank you for not grabbing your pitchfork and joining the mob. To James, I sincerely hope you find more construction ways to feel better about yourself than judging people whom you do not know. To those who sent me an email informing me of this post, thank you. Cal, I will email you a tracking number within the next few days and I wish this had all ended differently.

So your saying you still haven't shipped his end of the trade to him yet?. Also you CLAIM that his package only had 2 of the 3 knives in it?

Bends, if you have been stayed in contact with Cal thru most of the process, must have simply forgot that he sent you 2 knives instead of 3!!! Total BS
