I had an old school Yashica for my first ever camera which I think was my Dad's. It had leather casing and to focus, you had to look vertically down on that prism contraption system which it had. I think that I'm 100 years old :D
I live so rural we don’t even get cellular service out here at home ,
so let’s not talk about MY cameras... ;)
I got nothin’.

Middle photo is not mine, it is from Scott’s website, he is shipping knife today to me.6D1BE254-96D1-487D-8689-46DB7BB6C619.jpegA38C8760-8C2C-4957-ACE4-4FC444001172.jpeg

Mike Pierson Mike Pierson those are some good looking choppers and well done S7 should perform well.
What do you think of those forward lanyard holes? They look inconveniently placed right in the middle of some prime handle real estate. Thoughts?
I have been out batoning wood this morning and adjusted my hand position a bit, & ignored those middle holes. Then “lightbulb“ came on, & now I can’t stop! The fatter Gossman grips are great and I use the lower lanyard hole for now. Love it and use it more for an all around camp knife, not mainly as a chopper. The S7 is some sweet steel!
The big Tusker Lite reminds me of a knife I travelled over 350 miles to purchase in Oaxaca City and then at the 1st stop afterwards we had picnic’d on mango’s and bananas. I left that knife accidentally by the roadside in Chiapas Mexico... upon returning to the picnic spot 10 minutes later-
a sheep herder was there.
I waved, I smiled, and I kept on going...

Speaking of boots, Danner is doing their semi annual sale. Couldn't help myself and a pair of Danner 8" Rainforest boots is on the way. That's my pre-Christmas gift to me.
I keep going over to the Danner website, I love the big boot sales! My Super RainForest and Hood Winter Light boots from last year barely show wear yet, have been rotating out 3 different pairs for my edc wear. So far so good!

mountain 600 chelsea are the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever had
crag rats are really nicely made, but the outsole provides inadequate traction in the wet. Buy 1/2 size larger than usual
rain forests are the shit
usmc rats have surprisingly good sensitivity and are pretty light for steel toe

Yes Sir! After 2 years of wear my USMC RATS are holding up excellent!
Still have a new pair in the box, waiting, waiting, waiting...
