• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Robert makes a fine knife. Not only is he really easy to work with but he uses a wide variety of steels and handle materials - almost too many, it can be hard to decide on stuff...
I saw him post that one and I am really happy that someone (namely yourself) scooped it up before I got myself in trouble - it's a stunner, for sure.

From my other favorite maker.

Vehement Knives: Wasp (Full custom, not a standard model, to the best of my knowledge only two exist, the other in green linen micarta, and this one is I think the best). 7" Satin "Tigerlypse" finish CPM154 blade, tapered tang, nickel silver guard, bone paper micarta over red liners with mosaic pins. Sheath by Skinbender, black leather with red thread to match the knife liners.

Really growing to like AEB-L steel. I usually pass on any fixed blade in stainless steel, until I tried AEB-L. The only thing about this steel I don’t like is a lack of patina. Cuts like 52100, sharpens like 1095. Good stuff.
