We had some great boats in our marine division, but I never drove 'em. 55' Hatteras, Cigarette boats, Scarabs, etc. Spent time on each of them though, over the years.

Shark Darts have been around for a long time- same concept. Compresses innards and floats things up. I knew a couple of guys who speared grouper with them in the Dominican Republic. I carried one on a pole spear a number of times, but never deployed it.
