If I can't score a CPK Keppy, I think I'm gonna' get a "62". Pàdruig's post is not the first time I've heard amazing things about it. I've been considering one for a long time but have been a little apprehensive about the uncoated blade and wood scales.

You should be able to score a CPK one, they come up here off and on.

If you don't, Paul makes a good one, this one is in Magnacut + Micarta.

You have excellent taste. You wouldn't believe how I ended up with it...

Here's a couple others I still have. I had a Scagel styled fixed blade with crown antler, but it's long gone.

The knife on top, above, I bought from Don Hanson, M.S. He had gone to the Blade Show years ago and forgot to bring a knife. (True story.)
So, he bought that small "Bullet" trapper from P.J. After the show, I bought it from him as a companion to the larger forged piece.

I’d love to find one of those trappers in stag. I feel PJ and I must have very similar taste because I like darn near everything he made. It seems like the odd folder still escapes his bench now and then.

I've sold off some of my more expensive and arty knives by guys like Revishvili, Bose, (father and son), Kawamura, Richard Rogers...but I still have some nice ones.

Here's one that Ken Erickson made for me on a dare. It's extremely special to me. He made it without any plans or go-by...just based upon a picture from a Remington catalog I shared with him.

I had forgotten that I had challenged him to make it when he was telling me that he was bored. Months later when we met up at the Blade Show he surprised me with it. To say I was floored is a major understatement.
