Besides CPK knives, whaddaya like?

I put my ugliest knife (Skrama 240) to work peeling and chopping off birch bark from logs I had cut and stacked on my driveway at cabin. We have had so much rain this summer that they are wet inside the bark so I wanted to get that off before mold sets in. The Skrama performed great at the task and the oversize handle allows for many grips. I cut through a small 4” and 6” log just to try it out and gripping as far back as possible worked well. Being able to use it as a draw knife is great, and it touched up quickly on my little work sharp. A heck of a lot of knife for the money (for those of us who don’t have a CPK chopper).

I have been researching this topic for a number of years. I may even be a subject matter expert to some while remaining an idiot to others. I have collected a lot of data on my own and have taken over quite a bit of research that others had done and added it to my own. I will be happy to share data with you when you have more on the subject after you conduct more research yourself. I don’t know if you will find this information helpful or not, but at this time, I can let you know that while you have found it is not eight, I can confirm that it isn’t ten. It isn't eight plus ten or eight times ten either. Maybe eight to the tenth power will be the answer, we’ll see.
The answer is always N+1 when you’re afflicted with G.A.S.

I like them chunky :)

The MMD is such a nice knife! I regret getting rid of it, but it went to a good home.

Yeah, I was wondering why you sold yours, after stripping my first one when you did yours. Always a bit surprised that they are not more popular; big bang for the buck, IMO (MMD v1, v2 and Eraticator). Anyways, all good knives need a backup, the above is my second v1. One day the price will move up and I'll be rich 🤣
