I’ve got one of those camp knives with a hand-sculpted G10 and wood handle. It’s nice.
@coolbreezy37 was kind enough to pass on his Fiddleback Camp Knife in 3V (thank you, D. !).

That’s the first RMJ knife I’ve liked, but it’s still heavy for a fighting knife (even with 9.5” blade), it’s $$$$, and why coat magnacut?
Nice new RMJ coming out soon, the Lady Death. Anyone eyeing these?? On the ridonculous end of the spectrum, I’ve always liked the elusive Busse Argonne Assault.

While there's some variance between manufacturers/knifemakers, kurouchi ("first black") finish generally refers to blades that leave the black forge scale on the flats (i.e. a full flat grind wouldn't generally be called kurouchi, because the forge scale is ground off).

Your photo looks more like a migaki (polished) finish (and again, different manufacturers/knifemakers will have different levels/appearances to their migaki, with some having a higher level of polish vs others, but it's somewhat akin to CPKs satin finishes).

This link has pics of examples

Here’s a Watanabe 240 Ku Gyoto for another example of that finish. I’ve had this knife for many years now and still enjoy it every time I use it. No one else in my family will touch it…which is kind of a bonus. Lol . It demands respect. :)

Here's some black & blue on a small forged piece called the "EBK" from master smith Ed Caffrey which I purchased many moons ago.

It can be carried on the belt or in the pocket. Blade is a hair under 3" to the plunge line.
