Besides CPK knives, whaddaya like?

coolbreezy37 coolbreezy37 was kind enough to pass on his Fiddleback Camp Knife in 3V (thank you, D. !).

Here in comparison to a knife you all know, I love the wider and a little thinner pattern of the Fiddleback, and the handle feels like a great hybrid for kitchen and chopping. And scales are made by CPK ?

Nice. Those Fiddleback Camp Knives are highly sought after these days.

Love that profile!

Thanks - me too. It's a fantastic blade, with plenty of handle and great ergos. I've wanted one for a long time, but they disappear fast when a new run happens, which isn't often. Nordsmith knives are designed by David C. Andersen and built by L.T. Wright.

Specs:
  • Overall Length: 11"
  • Sharpened Length: 5.5”
  • Blade Thickness: 1/8”
  • Weight: 9.5 oz.

I have always wanted a trench knife. This does look like a cool rendition. I wonder when and where these will be available?
I believe I saw this coming Fri. This thing is pretty badass, but I keep asking myself “what would I really do with it?” That’s my feeble attempt to talk myself off the ledge. ;)

They’re offering a nice sheath setup too btw.

Adam Kornalski (Kornalski Knives) Kephart with Jatoba (Brazilian Cherry) scales and BÖHLER K720/AISI O2 steel.
The O2 steel is easily prone to rust so I'm beginning to force out a little patina by kitchen use as well swabbing the blade lightly with cotton and cider vinegar.
