I was looking at the one one the Exchange, but that has the asymmetrical edge, which from reading is no good for lefty's. They're so very similar though.

So when it comes to let’s say the UF vs DEK, isn’t the 6” blade a bit much to actually carry around? Outdoor activities excluded where you can carry it openly? Is the UF your personal favorite CPK before getting into small chopper range?

No and yes.

Think about cutting a loaf of bread .... and it's lighter than the typical 5" blade (for example BFK or Ratmandu).

Which reminds me, I should carry the UF again. Tomorrow then.

Realistically this is about the limit for what I try to carry and conceal if I want to go above my 3” edc and small Sebenza unless I’m in the country vs city. Having said that, the journey never seems to end as long as there are new pictures posted. Always curious but I do try to maintain a fairly consistent number of blades by replacing rather than adding.

Dawson Knives out of AZ doesn't seem to get mentioned here very often. But they offer several longer blades and swords in addition to smaller knives, all of which are of exceptional quality.

I have been fawning over this bad boy for a while... Too bad it's always sold out!

I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to pick up an asymmetric edge Busse. It’s nothing like an Emerson where the full chisel is actually annoying for a “wrong-handed” user.

What a great start to the week starting with the MC on Monday. Then Tuesday the work tuff showed that I had ordered last week because I didn’t think I would get a Carothers. Then today the 31 with a ladder Damascus blade.
