  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Besides CPK knives, whaddaya like?

Received this beautiful Leuku from @malanika . Holy cow, it’s superb and razor sharp, scary sharp. Slices paper about as good as a razor. ~.185” at the spine and a sharp 90*, should throw one heck of a spark. Other than the UF2, this Leuku is the lightest knife out of these CPK’s. Leuku weighs in at 11.40oz and feels very light in the hand.

Some CPK’s for size comparison

Closest similar size is the Shiv

So you're the one that snagged it? Nice grab. I saw that one for sale and I was tempted.

I'm curious what your cartridge is? It looks like you turned the neck... I had the pleasure of doing that to 500 brass for a wildcat.

6.5SAUM in ADG brass no neck turn on this cartridge though. 153 grn. A-Tips G7 BC of .360 @3050fps in a 23”bbl lightweight full custom. Shoots a little flatter at 1000 than my 28Nosler shooting 195’s.

500 pieces sounds like a lot of fun lol. I avoid neck turn when possible, but have done it.

What is expected barrel life on the SAUM? I have a couple of 6.5 PRC's and looked at the SAUM but I can get factory ammo that shoots bugholes till I get dies.
Would like to see the rifle.

It’s very high, I want to say ~3500 rounds. Now that high end brass company’s are making brass for it (ADG is awesome brass), with a no neck turn reamer running brass that don’t require neck turning in the 6.5SAUM is nice. Not much for factory ammo though like the 6.5PRC, but holds more powder (outruns the 6.5PRC) and great for reloading. Definitely a bughole cartridge.

I’ll get a couple pics for ya, working night shifts now.
