Wow, thanks for digging that post up and sharing! I just went to grab one but they are sold out already. Maybe one will show up on the exchange 🤞🏻
I was looking for photos of the knife I just bought, and saw your post.

Bummer that they're out! The Buck forum was pretty quiet about this drop, so I thought they wouldn't sell out so fast.

I've heard that Buck sometimes holds onto a few knives to sell at their factory store. You could try calling and see if they have any in a display case.

Good luck!

Nice grab on that tanto JACKMANDU JACKMANDU its the ones that got this started. Loving these modern RHKs alot. Just took on a skinny xm18 3.5” in trade and it really warms my fuzzy 🥰
Cool! I started down the rabbit hole with an xm18 3.5 skinny. It was your photo that turned me onto the eklipse. Haha
I snagged a hollow slicer eklipse and spent too much on TI scale, working finish hardware, patriotic clip and tab! It’s addicting. Now I got a Tanto coming.

Murphjd25 talked himself into purchasing the T9 before I was able to do it myself. Luckily Venelin from TFK was able to hook me up shortly thereafter.
How do you like it? I was very surprised how great it is. A very great knife! I love the new satin/stone bead finish they are doing.

It is fantastic! Fits well in the hand, although no ergos come close to CPK.
Love the satin/stone bead finish. I was disappointed they had put balistol on the scales pre-shipment, as I like ordered and anticipated the natural micarta appearance, but I understand why they did it. Washed the scales with hand soap and dish soap but no luck removing the oiled coloration. I would have preferred the TFK logo not be on the outward face of the sheath. That being said there is a crisp thunk when placing the blade in its sheath.
Aside from aesthetics, the blade is sharp, which is expected of a knife.
All in all, despite my wife admonishing me for buying “more knives,” I may have to keep my eyes open for more TFK.

Just got in this wee one from J.J. Smith, a maker here who is relatively local to me in Oregon. He makes some fine stuff.

I like pocket carrying a small fixed blade so I've accumulated a number of them, a handful of those being displayed below.
