Love it!

I pulled mine out to get a picture and realized it’s from 2004. I commissioned him to make it for me and it arrived right before my wife and I left for a week camping in Hocking Valley. He and his wife are salt of the earth.

Not sure what year mine is from, Chad. I think earlier, but I'd have to see if I had any record of it from back then.

ETA: It has to be earlier, because I moved out of that apartment in 2003. So, probably late 90's, very early 2000's. The ceiling light was the clue.

Mine has the date etched or I would have said 2001

There are some nuanced design changes, so guessing yours is a bit older for sure. Looks like he widened the grip behind the guard a bit.

It wasn’t too long after this one he retired, maybe 2 or 3 years?

I think that's really Cool!
Before, I too was thinking it would be cool if somehow I could make some knives for high level people.....having no idea how All That even goes about...?
