ferider ferider turned me on to the Buck 104 a long time ago and I’ve been trying to track down an April ‘21 BOTM ever since. I finally got my hands on one. It’s a great knife. I’ve been hunting for one for so long it’ll have a special place in my collection.

How comfortable is the handle? I usually like something to Grab onto. I'm not familiar with "the original" so I always figured this might be a good substitute to try one out?

It's pretty rectangular and thin. A little like a Kephart, so you always know how you are holding it, if that makes sense.

Also wondering what KnifeVice KnifeVice thinks, of course.

It doesn’t have the amazing feel of a CPK handle, but I do like it. It’s very basic and rectangular, but it’s a comfortable shape and I think I could use it for a long time without hot spots or cramping up. I think it’s the simple, unrefined, basic nature of the knife that made me like it so much.

I didn't realize how Similar they looked until next to each other. I would have thought the Buck was a lot smaller
