Besides CPK knives, whaddaya like?

If anyone is looking for a cool pocket sheath/slip for a pocket knife- MKM makes a really nice one that has a magnetic loop to go over your pocket. Just got one today and it is slick- very nicely made and fits quite a variety of knives. Shown here with a Buck Saunter 250.IMG_0679.jpegIMG_0678.jpeg

Wow! Interesting! Thanks for sharing!! Any issue when drawing? Meaning do you ever pull the whole sheath out?

I just got it today, so I played around with different knives in it (Puma German stockman, Buck 301, Buck 055, Saunter, Case med Stockman, large Stockman, Sowbelly, large Trapper). They all fit!

The leather allows for larger profiles to fit, but being new it has not stretched out. The Buck 301, 055, Saunter with fob, and Puma are able to extract with the slip staying attached to the kangaroo pouch pocket of my hoodie. My Trapper has a clip so it is a little larger. I am waiting on a Kershaw Federalist to show up which will have a fob as well. I think the slip will break in to whichever knife I decide to carry in it most.

The Horsewright slip that attaches to a belt or belt-loop is awesome, but I wanted to try this out for keeping the blade in a set position, or in a shirt/hoodie/jacket pocket. Could also wear the slip on outside if doing a chore to have quicker access to it.

Thank you for the thoughtful reply! Will have to try one, as the sweatshirt/jacket possibilities is right where my head went! 👍

[sung in Dean Martin's voice...]

Oh the weapons outside are frightful
But Richard's daggers are just delightful
And though they make a bunch of great big holes
Let them flow, let them flow, let them flow

Demko USA 3V Freereign arrived today. Super nice and a heck of a deal imo.View attachment 3009805

That’s a heck of a deal and I really like it.

Already looked at 3 different webs on it, and each is impressive, especially the price on what you get.

I would need tune up the scales a bit, but that’s just due to MY hand disability only.

After butchering scores of big game, the Suretouch/Thermoplastic/Krayton handle is my favorite when it comes to bloody, wet work.

Plus it’s very easy to clean up too.

Thanks for posting this. It’s a winner 👍
