I work with that guy.

Is that a new puppy? Did I miss a post about this? Is it your daughter’s dog. Oh yeah, cool knife too.

Funny, R. / RLB0414 RLB0414 in the EDC thread made a similar comment this morning. No, this is Baldr, our 11 year old Cane Corso. I guess, the wide photo angle and him curling up in the morning cold of the cabin make him look smaller than he is. He is a little lighter (85 pounds) than he used to be (99 pounds), as we keep him skinny in his old age (vet advice).

Here he is this morning showing how he looks awake :)

Ah yes Baldr. Now I recognize him. The photo was deceiving. Interesting.

IMG_2697.jpegIMG_2699.jpegJust picked up my first knife from Bill Siegle, his EDC model. I’ve only used it a little around the house so far, but it feels fantastic in hand and I’m really impressed with his work. It’s very stout for an EDC blade and seems like it could shrug off some serious abuse. It’s got a prison-shank-chic vibe that I'm really digging🤣. I’m gonna have to figure out a carry solution though. I prefer pancake sheets so I can mount the pocket clip on the front side of the sheath. I’ll sort it out.

I like automatics and this is quite a piece of work…..

Honoring our 1926 Model T’s 100th Birthday, a great friend and World Class Artist and Craftsman built this for me….he’s made 12 Hotrod knives in the past and not only is this ‘Lucky 13’ but it’s been 12 years since the last one plus this is the only one from a photo.

Completely hand carved and fabricated down to the last part…..tires (even replicated the tread on the front and the Cheater Slick pattern on the back), wheels, carbs, headers, engine, etc, with a wonderful carved ivory skull checking everything out….its on a magnet so it can swivel around.

The perfectly ground and fullered dagger blade is Damasteel and the best part is pushing down on the left-side header is the blade release…fires with unmitigated authority and is secured with a flame colored locking-liner, finely detailed, as is everything….the axles and engine sides are also flame colored….almost look case-hardened.

The frame itself is bead-blasted steel that was hot blued with G10 ‘scales’ over them….the tires are turned from G10 and the scoop is carved from the same.

Folks speak of ‘One-of-a-Kind’, ‘One-of’, ‘One-off’…….THIS is the definition right here!!!!

I hope you all enjoy this as much as I do and will….and MANY THANKS to my buddy Phillip Booth, World Class Knifemaker.

That is truly amazing. I would think it will be featured in a notable magazine. Very cool ride too.
