best < $50 edc

Kershaw Leek available in lots of options serrated or plain, tanto blade or if colors are your thing there are lots available thumb stud opener or flipper. kershaw blur a little more than $50 same plus points as the leek just a little bigger and robust and only thumb stud opener. Can't go wrong with either of these. They take a ton of abuse made in usa and lifetime warranty

I say browse the exchange get something more expensive for the 50$ :D If you have to go new tenacious hands down. thats the knife that started me in my binge. now I prefer 100-300 blades;)

Kershaw Cryo for $35, and a Kershaw Leek blem for $25. I know it's $10 more than $50, but you're getting two knives, and two great knives at that. Hinderer and Onion designs, 8Cr13MoV and 14C28N steels, both frame locks with Speedsafe. Cryo is more of a heavy duty knife, while the Leek is thin and unobtrusive with a razor of a blade. Great combo.

Well I don't know if it's the "best" but certainly my favorite sub $50 folder is the Spyderco Tenacious. Seriously a great knife and in all honesty if I didn't know better, I would have thought it was a much more expensive knife.

If you like heavy duty old fashion folders, it's hard to beat the Buck 110. Solid, sturdy, heavy and reliable. A 110 was my EDC in my teen years before it was stolen. As I said it's on the heavy side for EDC but is a solid workhorse.

If you spend an extra $5 you could get the delica 4 ffg which is one of my favorites but if it needs to be less than $50 I would say the Spyderco Tenacious or one of the knives from that "family".(persistence, ambitious, resilience)

In the under $50 range...

I rotate a few; Kershaw Injection, Cyro, an SK2 super knife, and a couple of Rat 2's.. I tend to grab the Rats quite a bit. They're a sturdy, tough, fun, good looking knife I'm not afraid to work hard.

Picked up a blacked out kershaw blur for 43 off amazon. Made in USA, DLC coated with a black oxide clip. I can't think of anything else that comes close to that value.

If I were you I would spend the extra 10 bucks and get the Buck Vantage Pro. I think you can get em for $58 off amazon. S30v steel. Best folder for the money in that price range!

A few dollars more.....get a delica or mini grip. Both are super classic.
