Hey guys, recently got some funds in and am not sure which Busse to get next. :) I was thinking the TGLB, but with my acquiring of a SYKCO 911 I'm not sure I need something in that blade length. I also found a seller(great guy, by the by) who's got a Jackhammer up for sale which looks great, but it's a little thin and pretty for my tastes and I'm not sure I could beat on her. What do you guys think? What would be your "One knife to rule them all" choice? ;) Thanks guys! :D

I'd go TGLB over the 911 as a " one knife". Or if you want to save some scratch, go with the 711 from Scrapyard. But the Busse at factory pricing usually shouldn't be passed up.

Nah friend, the 911 is already mine and is my "chopper". I was just thinking I don't know if I need a knife like the TGLB that's so closely sized.

Ah, misread your OP. I have a TGLB on the way, but I passed on the 911 myself. Honestly I prefer the one large ( my Zilla or 1311) and a small. But I got the TGLB because they are cool and I wanted one.

Don't be concerned with "thin" infi. It really is so tough, even in thin editions, that you can use the heck out of it!

Jackhammer would make a great small/medium outdoor blade.

Really useful point, enough handle, and pretty cool.

My "small" is CABS (choiless anorexic boss street with the lovely convex satin).

My "medium" is the SarQ. Thin, and chops well for it's size.

My "large" is the B11. Light and powerful.

My "xl" is the KZII

I would have had Ash1, BAD (two different ones), SS, GW, FBMLE

Thanks guys, what would be a good pair with the 911? I guess I could sell the 911, but it's seen some use and it seems like a good knife.

I love my TGs. LB and CG.
I recently got a Skinny ASH 1. It's great and I really like the thinner stocks slice ability.
Next up to these three is my RatWeiler. LOVE the Ratweiler!!!
Really want to get my hands on a SOD LE one day.

1311 is my favorite user thus far. I do like my NMSFNO for the mid range. Also the RMD for a small knife. I wish Busse would do a Sar 5 type talon hole if they must use one on their smaller blades, I find it gets in the way and I almost always go for a different brand for the smaller knives.

HACK Bear-cub (small)
Boss Jack (Small-Medium)
NMSFNO (Medium-Large)
NMFBM (Large + N Charge)

I think the best allarounder is the skinny ash1. Splinter pickin', game processing, shelter building, batonning, food prep. All covered.

As far as Busse goes the only one I have is a TMDSF and it will be mine till the end. To me it is a great size to weight and has a nice drop point on it. For me it is all I need.

My first Busse was a BATAC, which was a while back. But not far enough back to have owned any of the straight handled Busses, which look best to me.

Among more recent Busses, I'd say the SFNO is the best looking, followed closely by the ASH-1 LE. For use, the NMSFNO -- great balance in hand, not too long, but long enough to do some damage ;)

I think my 1311 is perfect for most things, but i'd love to give an NMSFNO or NMFSH a try

For what you are asking....

C.A.B.S. period

No need to sell the 911.... keep it and you have a GREAT combo!!!

ETA: My answer to the thread title......... B-10!!!
